Ovid Ring (Sterling Silver)
The Ovid Ring and its siblings (the Ra Ring and the Luna Ring) were the beautiful result of a collaboration with our dear friend and former studio neighbor, Matt Dick. To us they are characters, each with a personality. The feel of the curved metal with the open top is somehow both hug-like and spacious, and their presence is quiet but powerful.
The Ovid Ring is cast in solid sterling silver with a smooth, satin finish. It pairs well with gold or other silver jewelry, making this ring a great daily driver – we pretty much don’t leave the house without one on.
Sizing: The Ovid Ring is now available in standard sizes (U.S. sizes 4.5-11) with a two to six week turnaround (sizes currently in stock will be shipped within two weeks; all others will be custom cast and shipped within six weeks). Please get in touch for more information on turnaround for your size!
Not quite sure of your ring size? No worries! We’re excited to offer an optional at-home sizing service for $10.

Additional Info
Ring sizing kit: If you select the “I’m not sure / I’d like a sizing kit” option in the dropdown menu, we’ll pop one of our kits in the mail to you within two days of receiving your order.
The kit includes a stainless steel ring sizing set that you can try on at home, as well as step-by-step instructions to guide you through determining the right size. Once you’ve decided which size feels best, you can toss the kit back into the included prepaid return envelope and send it back to our studio. We’ll ship your sized ring within two to six weeks (please see the turnaround policy above) of receiving your returned kit. If you aren’t quite happy with the fit of your ring, we’ll make it right! For all rings purchased with a sizing kit, we offer free resizing and returns.
Please note: rings purchased without a sizing kit are final sale. However, because of their open shape, we’ve found that the rings can usually be lightly squeezed closed or pulled open to best fit your finger. So if you find that your ring is just a little too snug or loose, try giving it just a little squeeze or pull open.
A note about sterling silver: When it is exposed to moisture and the air, sterling silver will gradually develop a layer of grey oxide called tarnish. To clean bright silver pieces, you can use anything ranging from plain soap and water to some baking soda on an old toothbrush, or if they're really tarnished, a paste-type silver polish from the hardware store.
These are also available in 14k or 18k gold. For pricing, just send a note to hello@juliaturner.com
