The Hive necklace series began as a study of hives found in nature and has evolved into an ongoing exploration of form and color. With its satisfying silhouette and the subtle irregularities created as we mix the enamel gradient, the Stone Hive necklace captures the feeling of pulling a rock from a river, still glistening with water.
The rich, colorful surfaces of the Hive necklaces are created by sifting, layering, and melting powdered glass onto steel.
